At least that's what it seems like to me... very yucky :(<br /><br />Dear Daughter's school sounds like a Royal Pain. I can't imagine having that much homework and pressure! Have you guys looked into financial aid at the private schools in town? (Are there any that would be worth her going to??)<br /><br />Speaking of financial aid, colleges will judge Daughter's need for financial aid based on her parents' income, up 'til she's 26 years old. So if you do get a job, she'll have fewer scholarships and grants available to her. So there's that;) <br /><br />I see nothing wrong with college kids having a part-time job, and paying for their own schooling. Why is that the parents' responsibility? Trust me, the college kids run wild when they've got too much free time on their hands anyhow. And if she's able to live at home (free room and board), that will save her a TON of money. n8swifenoreply@blogger.com
